Chipmunks Under Siding

Several years ago my parents had to have their poured patio removed because these cute little critters tunneled under it to the point it caused it to lower several inches and eventually cracked in two.

Holes occur over time when seals crack around plumbing fixtures on your siding allowing mice entrance into your home. They are destructive dirty and need to be removed. Look for holes in your lawn tiny footprints. But if you ve seen evidence of munching in your garden start sleuthing.

Chip monks are just that. They ruin expensive landscaping uproot garden plants and even make their way under retaining walls home foundations and decks. These stupid little things get into everything. The trap is easy to make you take a five gallon bucket fill it 3 4 with water and float the top of the water with sunflower seeds you then have a plank of wood go over the edge of bucket to give.

Use caulk expandable construction foam or concrete to cover any cracks or holes that you see on the outside of your house. Tiny holes in your siding are also dangerous since a chipmunk can fit into a space as small as two inches wide. One common way mice enter your home is through irregularities in your home s foundation where it meets the siding. Chipmunks may climb up and find ways to enter your home.

A rodent as is a rat or a mouse. Chipmunks are so shy and so quick you may not even notice them in your yard. Chipmunks may try to get into your home during the winter months if there are openings large enough. Look for broken siding on your exterior walls or shingles on your roof.

Look near the foundation of your home for any holes or cracks that chipmunks may be able to squeeze through.
