Greater philadelphia is the proud home of the circuit trails a vast regional network of hundreds of miles of multi use trails that is growing in size each year. The bay circuit is a permanent recreation trail and greenway extending through 37 towns in eastern massachusetts linking parks and open spaces in fifty seven boston area communities. Currently more than 300 miles of circuit trails are complete while another 50.

When complete the circuit will include 750 miles of trails. More miles are added to the network each year. Some of philadelphia s most iconic trails including the manayunk bridge trail schuylkill river trail schuylkill boardwalk pennypack trail cooper river trail and forbidden drive are currently part of the circuit.
