Repeat to remove as much of the paint as possible. Start by cleaning the area with an upright or handheld carpet cleaner and cleaning solution. Rinse the area using a solution of mild dishwashing detergent and lukewarm water. To remove dried paint with either chemical start by scraping the paint stain with a razor blade or knife to get as much of the paint off as you can before you apply the chemical.
