Never use scrapers the coarse sides of sponges or scrub brushes to clean your marble shower.
Protect the marble floor by sealing it if it is not treated already.
Only use ph neutral cleaners.
For cleaning grout i d use the concentrated heavy duty tile grout cleaner.
And definitely don t use the average bathroom grout cleaner or tub and tile type cleaners.

Use mild detergents that will be gentle on your marble floor.
Dish washing soaps and ph neutral soaps diluted with warm water are ideal or a commercial marble cleaner.
For the best results mix approximately 8 ounces of warm water with one tablespoon of the soap in a spray bottle or other container.
After you clean the floor use a high grade marble sealant.
Acidic cleaners such as lemon vinegar or citrus based soaps can damage your stone s surface.
Once you start noticing water stains on your marble tiles you will know a coat of sealant was long overdue.
Marble surfaces should be cleaned with soft cotton cloths and clean rag mops along with neutral cleaners mild liquid dishwashing detergent mixed with water or stone cleaners.
Example of a household bathroom cleaner that contains acids when cleaning your toilet shower and tub be careful not to spray or spill cleaners on the marble surface.
Avoid harsh chemical solutions and acidic cleaners such as vinegar ammonia and citrus cleaner.
That s why a gentle non abrasive dish soap which has a neutral ph is the best option for cleaning marble.
Sealing is a crucial step for keeping marble bathroom surfaces clean and protected and this is something you can certainly accomplish on your own.
Both products in fact all products we recommend are made specifically for cleaning marble and natural stone are non damaging and safe for marble maintenance.
Use a soft mop.
Clean marble tiles at least once a week using either a specially formulated marble cleanser or a mild non acid household cleaner.
Usually cleaning marble floors with warm water and castile soap is enough.

Most of these are very acidic or alkaline based and will quickly etch your marble.
Don t use ammonia vinegar orange or lemon for cleaning.
Wet the entire area with hot water then apply the cleaning.
Although vinegar is a good cleaning agent and disinfectant for many surfaces it is acidic as are the other items mentioned and they can cause corrosive etching on your marble.
