Clutch Pedal Goes To Floor

There are four components that can cause the clutch pedal go all the way to the floor. I m driving along and my clutch is just fine i press down to shift gears and it just goes to the floor and stays. Do not attempt to start the engine and drive the vehicle with the clutch pedal stuck all the way to the floor. It won t come out of gear so i just brake.

It should offer resistance as you push it toward the floor and stop shy of the actual floorboard.
